Overview
Barton Springs Pool is one of Austin's most famous landmarks, a spring-fed swimming hole inside Zilker Park where the water stays cool all year. Getting there
Barton Springs is about 10 minutes, or half a mile, from the Barton Springs & Zilker bus stop. Start by turning right onto Barton Springs Road, and follow the sidewalk southwest. Along the way you'll use Zilker Metro Loop for about 500 feet, and Barton Springs will be on your right.
