Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association
Overview
The Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association is a mosque and community center on Los Indios Trail in northwest Austin. As its name suggests, it serves a Shia Muslim community, typically hosting prayers, religious gatherings, observances during Muharram and Ramadan, and classes. Muslim families in the north Austin area who follow this tradition are the people it usually serves.

Getting there
From the Research & Technology bus stop, allow about 16 minutes for the 0.7-mile walk. Start along Research Boulevard, then follow Jekel Circle and turn right onto McNeil Drive for about 1,000 feet. Continue on the sidewalk northeast toward 12460 Los Indios Trl, and Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association will be on your right.
