Auditorium Shores
Overview
Auditorium Shores is a well-known park on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake in Austin, with wide lawns and views of the downtown skyline. It is famous as an outdoor stage for big concerts, festivals and free community events, and its open lawn draws dog owners and picnickers on ordinary days. Music fans often gather here when a major show comes to town.

Getting there
It's about a 10-minute, half-mile walk from the 290 Hwy & Monterey Oaks bus stop to Auditorium Shores. The route uses no named streets, so just keep heading south along the sidewalk. Auditorium Shores will be on your left.
