Overview
Austin Municipal Court has its main courthouse on Burleson Road in southeast Austin. Municipal courts like this typically handle traffic tickets, city ordinance violations and other Class C misdemeanors. Walk-in hours here run Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 11 AM, and people resolving a ticket or attending a hearing are the usual visitors.

Getting there
Austin Municipal Court is about a 7-minute walk, a third of a mile, from the Burleson & Felter NW bus stop. Take Smith School Road, then follow the sidewalk north toward 6800 Burleson Rd. You'll reach the court there.
